Luisa Isabel I (18 October 1805-11 January 1885) was the Queen of the Confederacion Granadina from 1858 until her overthrowing in 1863. During her reign she fought against the rebellious Conservative Party in the Granadine Civil War, and attempted to pay off war debts by demanding $110,000 from the United States in exchange for a trade agreement in technology; their lack of intervention led to her defeat.
