Luis Telmo Paz y Miño

Luis Telmo Paz y Miño (15 April 1884-1962) was President of Ecuador in July 1925, succeeding Gonzalo Cordova and preceding Francisco Arizaga Luque.

Biography[]

Luis Telmo Paz y Miño was born in Chillogallo, Ecuador in 1884, and he joined the Ecuadorian Army in 1902. He and several other low-ranking officers led a coup against the liberal bankocracy in 1925, establishing a junta before giving way to a provisional president, Francisco Arizaga Luque, in July 1925.
