Ludwig Blattner was a German author who lived in Berlin during the Interwar period. Blattner wrote erotic fiction novels such as Cleo, the Whip Lady, which he paid the British linguist Brian Roberts to translate into English in 1931. Blattner was a staunch supporter of Nazism, believing that the Jews were behind an international conspiracy of bankers and communists meant to destroy Germany.
