Biography[]

Lucien Wilbanks was born in Canton, Mississippi in 1923, and he became known as a great civil rights lawyer during the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s. Wilbanks took part in civil rights demonstrations as an activist, and he also represented civil rights activists in court cases regarding their civil disobedience methods. Wilbanks' greatness was brought to an end due to his alcoholism, and he was later disbarred.
