Lou Rodriguez

Lou Rodriguez (1937-24 May 1985) was a police lieutenant and the head of the Metro-Dade Organized Crime Bureau of Miami, Florida during the early 1980s.

Biography[]

Lou Rodriguez was born in 1937 in Miami, Florida, and he became a police detective there. Rodriguez had a wife named Maria and two children, and he began working with detective Sonny Crockett in 1978, when he became the head of the Metro-Dade Organized Crime Bureau of the Miami Police Department. He worked together with Crockett during the hunt for Esteban Calderone, a Colombian drug lord, and he was mortally by Calderone's hitman Ludovici Armstrong while taking Crockett to his boat at the Miamarina harbor. Rodriguez died shortly after from his wounds, but not before Armstrong was taken down by the police.
