Lord Mayor Omero of Segna (7 September 774-) was the fourth son of Doge Giovanni of Venice and Aikaterine Amalfinos.
Biography[]
Omero was born on 7 September 774 to Doge Giovanni of Venice and Aikaterine Amalfinos, and he came from the House of Galbaio. Omero was born while his father was doge, and he was raised at his court. When he came of age in 790, he grew up to be a brilliant strategist, and he was appointed a commander of the Republic of Venice and High Admiral of the Venetian Navy. He married Nuna Lopez, the daughter of Lope II of Gascony, on 11 September 790. In 795 he was made Lord Mayor of Segna by Doge Giovanni of Venice.
