Lord Jacome of Burgos was a Castilian knight who served as the governor of the city of Burgos under King Fernando I of Leon. In 1066, he was the commander of the Castilian expedition into Moorish lands that culminated in the victory at the Battle of Milagros, a clash of cavalry that proved Jacome's valor and led to him being granted a banquet by King Fernando. As the lord of Burgos, he was responsible for preparing the court for assembly meetings and for any events that King Fernando sought to hold.
