Lobito Arellano Felix

"El Lobito" Arellano Felix was one of the leaders of the Tijuana Cartel of Mexico. He was captured by the rival Sinaloa Cartel after the 1992 Christine nightclub shootout, but his life was spared by El Chapo.

Biography[]

"El Lobito" was the younger brother of Benjamin and Ramon Arellano Felix, and he became one of the leaders of the powerful Tijuana Cartel. In 1992, El Lobito attended his brother Benjamin's birthday party at the Christine nightclub in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, and Ramon and Lobito both attempted to escape the club when Joaquin Guzman Loera's Sinaloa Cartel gunmen shot up the disco. Lobito was captured by the Sinaloa gunmen, and Guzman intended to kill him and avenge the deaths of El Guero's family; however, Ismael Zambada Garcia warned him that their alliance would be over if Lobito was killed. Guzman responded by leaving Lobito on the side of a road for his brothers to rescue.
