Lobel (602-) was a son of Darko and the brother of Klukas, Muhlo, Kosjenc, and Hrvat. In 620, the brothers led the Croats out of Silesia to attack the Avars of Dalmatia at the behest of the Byzantine emperor Heraclius, and, by 634, they had conquered Dalmatia and laid the foundations for the Croat nation of "Croatia".
