Liwa Thuwar al-Raqqa, also known as the Raqqa Revolutionaries' Brigade, is a Syrian Opposition rebel group that was formed in September 2012 during the Syrian Civil War. Seeking to create an undivided civil democracy in Syria instead of the Syrian Arab Republic, the brigade joined the Syrian Democratic Forces, Jabhat al-Akrad, and Army of Revolutionaries in opposition to the Syrian Arab Army and Islamic State. The group had over 800 fighters, and it operated in both Aleppo Governorate and Raqqa Governorate.
