Liu Yu (died 193) was Governor of You Province during the late 2nd century. In 185, he was made Imperial Protector of Youzhou and sent to fight against Zhang Ju and Zhang Chun's rebellion, and Liu Bei joined his service after Liu Hu recommended him. Liu Bei helped Liu Yu crush the uprising, and both of them were promoted, with Liu Yu being promoted to Grand Commander. He died in 193.
