"Little" Jacob Hughes (born 1 January 1982) was a Jamaican-American criminal who was believed by the NYPD to have been the second-in-command of the "Hillside Posse" gang during the 2000s. Little Jacob was involved with the marijuana and cocaine distribution racket in the Brooklyn and Queens boroughs of New York City alongside his friend and boss Real Badman, and he befriended Serbian criminal Niko Bellic in 2008. Little Jacob would help him several times, including helping him with escaping from a Russian Mafia ambush in Red Hook, with assassinating Eduard Borodin, and with killing American Mafia boss Jimmy Pegorino.
Biography[]
Jacob Hughes was born in Jamaica in January 1, 1982, and he became involved with street crime at a young age. Jacob befriended Teafore Maxwell-Davies, who would become known as "Real Badman"; Hughes became known as "Little Jacob". The two came to the United States in their late teens, and Jacob was arrested in 2001 for armed robbery, in 2002 for burglary, and in 2006 for possession of marijuana. Jacob became the second-in-command of the Hillside Posse gang in Brooklyn, New York City, with Real Badman serving as the gang's leader; Little Jacob was involved with the marijuana and cocaine distribution racket in Brooklyn and Queens during the 2000s, and he was suspected in several armed robberies and hijackings. In 2008, Little Jacob was introduced to Serbian criminal Niko Bellic by Bellic's cousin Roman Bellic, one of Jacob's friends and the owner of a cab company. Niko Bellic was sent to drive Jacob to a meeting with Jimarcus Denholm in Bushwick, and Jacob gave him a gun, telling him that he believed that Denhol, and his friends would attempt to kill him. Bellic saved Jacob by gunning the four assassins down from a vantage point above the meeting, and Jacob offered to employ Bellic as an associate in exchange for money. Bellic helped Bellic with hunting down rival drug dealers, and the two became close friends, hanging out together several times. Jacob also hired Bellic to deliver drug shipments for the family, giving him some more money.

Jacob would be a great friend to Bellic, helping him out whenever he needed his assistance. Jacob saved him from a Faustin crime family and Bulgarin crime family ambush at the docks of Red Hook, helped him with the assassination of Eduard Borodin on the orders of the CIA, and helped him in chasing down Jimmy Pegorino to Liberty Island, where Bellic killed Pegorino. Jacob and Real Badman were still alive and well by 2013, continuing to sell drugs on the streets.
