Ling Cao (?-203) was an officer of Sun Ce and father of Ling Tong. After defeating Yan Baihu of Wu Jun, Ling Cao joined Sun Ce and was appointed Commander of Conquest. In a battle with Huang Zu, he was shot by Gan Ning and killed.
