Miles Parks McCollum (23 August 1997-), better known by his stage name Lil Yachty, was an American rapper from Georgia. Lil Yachty was known for his "bubblegum rap", which sampled sounds from Super Mario Bros, Charlie Brown, the Rugrats theme song, and the GameCube console startup sounds for his songs.

Miles Parks McCollum was born in Mableton, Georgia, United States on 23 August 1997, and he moved from Atlanta to New York City in 2015 to launch his rap career. McCollum took on the nickname "Yachty" and became an Instagram model before issuing the lead single "One Night" on 19 August 2015, setting the stage for the release of his debut mixtape Lil Boat. He was arrested on 1 September 2015 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for credit card fraud, although his criminal record was expunged after he paid an $11,000 bail. Yachty released Lil Boat on 9 March 2016, and he collaborated with D.R.A.M. to release "Broccoli" in April 2016 and with KYLE on "iSpy" in December. On 17 May 2016, he appeared in a Sprite commercial with famed basketball player LeBron James, in which he humorously changed the lyrics of his song "Minnesota" from "Cold like Minnesota" to "Cold like a Sprite soda". In 2019, he endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
