The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) is a conservative political party in Moldova that was founded on 8 October 2007. The party was founded by 53 leaders who sought to morally reorganize the political class, initiate the rebirth and modernization of the country, and reestablish the society back on its natural track of democratic development. The party also sought to overcome the economic, social, and civilization gaps which separated Moldova from the European Union.
