Li Jinbao was a blind Taoist monk from Wudang, China who served at the court of Kublai Khan during the late 13th century. Although he was blind, he was nicknamed "Hundred Eyes" due to his wisdom and trained the Khan's sons and nobles. In 1271, after Marco Polo was conscripted into the Khan's service, Li Jinbao served as his tutor and that introduced him to the ways of the Mongol court.
