Lewis Burr Sturges (15 March 1763 – 30 March 1844) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-CN) from 1805 to 1817, succeeding Calvin Goddard and preceding Samuel D. Sherwood.

Biography[]

Lewis Burr Sturges was born in Fairfield, Connecticut, the son of Jonathan Sturges. He served as clerk of the Fairfield district court from 1787 to 1791, in the State House from 1794 to 1803, and in the US House of Representatives from 1805 to 1817, and he died in Norwalk, Ohio in 1844.
