Levent Dagtekin was the Ottoman Turkish village elder of Manisa during the Turkish War of Independence. In 1922, he welcomed Colonel Ahmed Elci's Ottoman Army column into his village amid a wedding ceremony, and the village was bombarded by the Greek Army shortly afterwards; Dagtekin's fate was unknown.
