Lev I. Fomin

Lev Ivanovich Fomin (18 March 1893 – 25 September 1962) was a Soviet Red Army commissar during World War II. Fomin was a veteran of World War I and the Russian Civil War, and he became the political commissar of a Red Army rifle regiment. Fomin fought in the Caucasus during World War II, including at the Voronezh-Kastornensk Operation. He would survive the war and die in Moscow in 1962.
