
Leszek Kruczek (1782-1844) was a colonel of the Grande Armee of the First French Empire during the Napoleonic Wars. Kruczek was born in Kempen in Kepno, Poland-Lithuania (now in the Greater Poland Voivodeship of Poland) in 1782, and he moved to France after Poland was partitioned. Kruczek became the commander of a regiment of Polish troops in the Grande Armee, and he led the regiment as a part of Jean Rapp's V Corps at the Battle of La Suffel.
