Leone Torelli (died 1476) was a captain of the Florentine Guard of the Repubblica Fiorentina.

Biography[]

Leone Torelli was a captain of the Florentine Guard, and witnessed wanted criminal Ezio Auditore da Firenze and his mother and sister leaving the city, and Ezio threw coins at ministrels to tip them. Torelli led an attack on the family as they left the city for unspecified reasons, so Ezio defended them ferociously. All of the Florentine guardsmen were struck down, and Torelli was impaled by Ezio's hidden blades.
