Leon Rutherford Taylor (26 October 1883-1 April 1924) was the Democratic Governor of New Jersey from 28 October 1913 to 20 January 1914, interrupting James Fairman Fielder's terms.
Biography[]
Leon Rutherford Taylor was born in Asbury Park, New Jersey in 1883, and he practiced law before serving in the General Assembly for three terms and acting Governor from 1913 to 1914. He later moved to Denver, Colorado, where he died in 1924.
