Lemuel Williams (18 June 1747 – 8 November 1828) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-MA 5) from 4 March 1799 to 3 March 1803 (succeeding Nathaniel Freeman Jr. and preceding Thomas Dwight) and from MA-8 from 4 March 1803 to 3 March 1805 (succeeding William Eustis and preceding Isaiah L. Green).

Biography[]

Lemuel Williams was born in Taunton, Massachusetts in 1747, and he worked as a lawyer in Bristol and Worcester Counties before serving as town clerk of New Bedford from 1792 to 1800. He went on to serve in the US House of Representatives from 1799 to 1805 and in the State House in 1806, and he died in 1828.
