
Lemuel Jenkins (20 October 1789-18 August 1862) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NY 7) from 4 March 1823 to 3 March 1825, succeeding Charles H. Ruggles and preceding Abraham Bruyn Hasbrouck. Born in Bloomingburgh, he served as a district attorney before serving in Congress and continuing his law career in Albany, where he died in 1862.
