Lee King

Lee King (1852-) was an American outlaw of the Wild West. He was nicknamed the "Straight Shot King" for his skill with pistols, shooting down at least a dozen bounty hunters, the killing of whom he considered a sport. In 1898, New Mexico Territory Governor Miguel Antonio Otero II issued a bounty for the death or capture of King, and the Arizona Kid tracked him down to Fort Mercer in Lincoln County and apprehended him after a shootout with his accomplices. King was promptly delivered to a prison wagon to face justice.
