Ledeborg was a Viking kingdom which existed from 874 to 918, with Ledeborg (Leicester) serving as its capital. It was considered to be one of the "Five Burghs" alongside Djurby (Derby), Hylrborg (Lincoln), Hellirborg (Nottingham), and Steinnborg (Stamford); Derby was reconquered by the Anglo-Saxons in 917, while the other burghs fell by the end of the next year.
