Leandros (1466-March 1511) was a Captain in the Knights Templar, and the commandant of the Templar Order stronghold of Masyaf.
Biography[]
Leandros was an ethnic Greek from the former Byzantine Empire, who was a brute captain in the Knights Templar. The commandant of the stronghold of Masyaf, Leandros was in possession of the keys to the Library of the tower because of his following of Niccolo Polo's "Secret Crusade" journal. However, they were unable to open the door even after three months of excavations in the snowy weather, but they occupied the rest of the fortress.

Leandros attempting to hang Ezio
In March 1511 a voyager from Italy named Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the Mentor of the Hashshashin, headed to Masyaf in hopes of finding out why the Assassins fight and see the history behind the aeons-old Assassins-Templar feud. Ezio was ambushed by Leandros' men and captured after a long fight, but he escaped Leandros' grasp by using a noose wrapped around his neck to tie to Leandros' neck and slide down the fortress walls. The Templars lost sight of Ezio, who regained his equipment from the armory and located the library.
Death[]

Leandros dies
Leandros encountered Ezio when Ezio entered Atlas Village, the village where Leandros was based, and Ezio gathered medicine to fight him. Ezio climbed up the tower in the village and he found Leandros waiting there, and after wrestling with him, he stabbed him in the chest. Leandros gave Ezio the book, and told him that he only wanted guidance and the location of the Grand Temple, not Altair's books.
