Lawrence Talbot Neal (22 September 1844-2 November 1905) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-OH 7) from 4 March 1873 to 3 March 1877, succeeding Samuel Shellabarger and preceding Henry L. Dickey.
Biography[]
Lawrence Talbot Neal was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia before moving to Chillicothe, Ohio in 1864 and became a lawyer there in 1867. He served as city solicitor from 1867 to 1868, as Ross County prosecuting attorney from 1870 to 1872, in the US House of Representatives from 1873 to 1877, and as a delegate to the 1888 and 1892 Democratic National Conventions. He died in 1905.
