The Lavochkin La-7 was a fighter plane used from 1944 to 1950 by the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia. Although it was phased out of service in 1947 by the Soviet Air Force, it saw service in the Czechoslovak Air Force for three more years, and 5,754 La-7s were built during its six-year existence.
