Laura Ingraham (19 June 1963-) was an American conservative radio talk show host and political commentator. In 2017, she expressed interest in running for the US Senate seat held by Democratic Virginia senator Tim Kaine.

Laura Ingraham was born in Glastonbury, Connecticut on 19 June 1963, and she went to Dartmouth College and the University of Virginia. Ingraham became involved with the Republican Party as a youth, although she moderated her views on same-sex marriage after seeing her gay brother Curtis and his partner struggle with AIDS, saying that she supported civil unions. During the 1980s, she worked as a speechwriter for Ronald Reagan's Domestic Policy Advisor, and she served as a law clerk after graduating from law school in 1991. In April 2001, she launched The Laura Ingraham Show on XM Satellite Radio, and she became a prominent conservative radio talk show host and guest host on The O'Reilly Factor and ABC's This Week. In 2017, she was tapped as a possible Republican nominee for the US Senate seat held by Virginia senator Tim Kaine.
