The Latin Kings are a large Hispanic street gangs in the United States that were formed in 1954 in Chicago, Illinois. The gang expanded from a Hispanic gang in America to become a multinational gang, also operating in Puerto Rico, Canada, Peru, Mexico, and Spain. In the Midwest, the gang had a strength of 35,000 people, while they had 19,000 people on the East Coast and 5,000 members elsewhere.
