Lara Yunaska (12 October 1982-) was Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee from 8 March 2024 to 17 January 2025, succeeding Drew McKissick and preceding KC Crosbie. The wife of Eric Trump, she was the daughter-in-law of Donald Trump.
Biography[]
Lara Yunaska was born in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1982, and she served as a story co-ordinater and publisher for Inside Edition from 2012 to 2016. She married Eric Trump in 2014 and served as a campaign advisor to his father, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, during the 2016 presidential election. In April 2019, she called Angela Merkel's decision to accept refugees "the downfall of Germany" and "one of the worst things to ever happen to Germany". In 2019, she became senior consultant to Brad Parscale during Trump's 2020 re-election campaign. She went on to campaign with far-right activist Laura Loomer in 2020, spoke at the rally that preceded the 2021 United States coup d'etat attempt, and chaired the Republican National Committee from 2024 to 2025.
