Lamech (3130 BC-2353 BC) was the son of Methuselah, grandson of Enoch, great-grandson of Jared, great-great-grandson of Mahalalel, great-great-great-grandson of Kenan, great-great-great-great-grandson of Enos, great-great-great-great-great-grandson of Seth and great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson of Adam and Eve in the Book of Genesis. He was 56 years old when his great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather Adam died at the age of 930, 113 years old when his grandfather Enoch walked with God and was taken from the Earth at the age of 365, and 168 years old when his great-great-great-great-great-grandfather Seth died at the age of 912. He became father of Noah at the age of 182, claiming that God would raise Noah from the cursed ground and have him relieve humans from work and toil. He was 266 years old when his great-great-great-great-grandfather Enos died at the age of 905, 361 years old when his great-great-great-grandfather Kenan died at the age of 910, 416 years old when his great-great-grandfather Mahalalel died at the age of 895, and 548 years old when his great-grandfather Jared died at the age of 962. He became grandfather of Shem at the age of 684. Lamech died at the age of 777 years, having other sons and daughters.
