Lake Shore Drive is an expressway that runs alongside the shoreline of Lake Michigan through Chicago, Illinois. The 15.83-mile road was originally named Leif Ericson Drive in 1927, but the entire road was renamed to Lake Shore Drive in 1946. The entire route is located in Cook County.
