Lagras was a fishing village in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. Located in the Bayou Nwa region north of New Orleans and along Lake Maurepas, it was a small and tight-knit Creole (mostly African-American) settlement, and it had a bait and tackle shop and a few other small houses.
