The Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK) is a militant Kurdish nationalist group in Turkey, formed on 29 July 2004 by Bahoz Erdal to secure the independence of Kurdistan rom Turkey in the south and east of the country. With a few dozen active members in 2006, it was not as powerful as its group of origin, the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), but it carried out the deadly 2016 Ankara bombing that killed 29 people and wounded 60.
