Kukrit Pramoj (20 April 1911-9 October 1995) was Prime Minister of Thailand from 14 March 1975 to 20 April 1976, interrupting Seni Pramoj's terms.
Biography[]
Kukrit Pramoj was born in Sing Buri Province, Thailand in 1911, the great-grandson of Rama II and the brother of Seni Pramoj. He served as a corporal during the Franco-Thai War before working as a banker and journalist. A staunch royalist, he entered politics with the liberal-conservative Democrat Party before defecting to the more liberal Social Action Party splinter-group in 1974. Kukrit served as Prime Minister from 1975 to 1976, interrupting his brother Seni Pramoj's terms, and he died in 1995.
