Krishna Balasekar was an Indian tribesman and builder belonging to the Malaiyali tribe. He, alongside many others, built several huts as settlement on the Yelagiri Hills in modern-day Jolarpet. He died of illness in the early 19th century. He had a daughter, Valli Sekaran, who was a victim of honour killing as approved by him and his family. He married Deva (Balasekar).
