Konstantin Smeshko (28 December 1962-26 December 2024) was a Russian major-general and deputy chief of the Russian Engineer Troops from 2017 to 2024. He commanded the engineering troops of the Far Eastern Military District and the Southern Military District from 2012 to 2017, and he was responsible for clearing Chechnya and Ingushetia of explosive objects in 2015. He was killed in a Ukrainian HIMARS attack in December 2024 amid the Russo-Ukrainian War.
