Konishi Kiyotada (小西 清忠, 1825 – 22 October, 1875) was a Japanese samurai and Kengo from Matsue Domain and founder of the Kyōbō ryū-gumi. Serving under Matsudaira Sadayasu, he assisted the young daimyō in reclaiming his position from his brother-in-law and oversaw the modernisation of Matsue’s military forces.

Renowned for his loyalty, skill at arms and adaptability, Kiyotada would share his lord, Sadayasu's moniker of "the Lion of Matsue" (松江藩の獅子), with the duo sometimes being referred to as "the Twin Lions" (双子のライオン). As leader of the Kyōbō ryū-gumi, Kiyotada participated in every war that Sadayasu fought, serving with distinction at the second battle of Okuizumo, the siege of Yonago and the battle of Saijocho Hattori.

However, despite the effectiveness of Kiyotada's modernised force, Matsue Domain would eventually come into conflict with the rising Republic of Kyushu. Although highly successful during early probing attacks from the Republic, the campaign enacted by Kyōgoku Tsunakatsu was too much for Matsue Domain to endure.

Despite a valiant defence at the battle of Gotsu and a last stand at the siege of Matsue Castle, the Domain fell to the Republicans in 1874. Kiyotada and the rest of the Kyōbō ryū-gumi fled from Matsue Domain seeking a new master whilst continuing to harass Republican forces.

They were turned away by Sadayasu's brother-in-law, Matsudaira Naritami of Tsuyama Domain and were forced to make their last stand on Mount Nagi. Here, Kiyotada received a bullet wound to his stomach and, by request, was beheaded as part of his seppuku.
