Kokcu Salih (1677-) was the Defterdar of the Ottoman Empire from 1703 until his death.
Biography[]
Formerly a stallholder at the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, Kokcu Salih had a harsh reputation and was a perfect candidate for the title of Defterdar, managing the Ottoman Empire's treasury.
