Kishu Tadaoki

Kishu Tadaoki (1835-July 1867) was a Japanese daimyo and lord of the pro-Shogunate Wakayama Domain in July 1867, succeeding Kishu Yukifuji. He succeeded his relative after his death in a failed sortie against the Choshu Domain during the Siege of Wakayama, and he avenged his death by crushing the small Choshu expedition. However, that same month, Tadaoki himself was killed in battle with the Takatori Domain, which captured Wakayama and ended his domain.
