King Mulu (?-225) was lord of the Bana Cave of Nanzhong.
Biography[]
King Mulu used magic to cause rain to fall and control poisonous snakes and animals. He honored a request by Meng Huo for aid, and with wild beasts, defeating the forces led by Zhao Yun and Wei Yan. Full of confidence, he attacked again, but his army of beasts were confused when they saw Zhuge Liang's man-made beasts. With his men in confusion because of the fleeing beasts, his forces could not mee tthe Shu attack and he was killed.
