King Lot (410-490) was Duke of Gododdin from 420 to 490, succeeding Coel Hen and preceding Gwalchmai.
Biography[]
Llewdwn was born in 410, the son of King Cynfarch Oer and the brother of King Urien of Rheged. He succeeded Coel Hen as Duke of Gododdin in 420, and the lands which he ruled in southern Scotland came to be known as "Lothian" in his honor. He was the father of Gawain by Morgause and the grandfather of Saint Kentigern, and he was slain by the rival king Pellinore in 490.
