The King's Royal Regiment of New York was an loyalist regiment that was active from 19 June 1776 to 1784 during the American Revolutionary War. The regiment was formed by exiled loyalist leader John Johnson from loyalist refugees in Canada, and they launched raids and relief missions into the Mohawk Valley of New York. The regiment fought in the Saratoga campaign and raided through the Mohawk Valley alongside Native American allies and fellow provincial regiments, and it soon grew to 250 soldiers in two battalions. The first battalion was disbanded in 1783, and the second a year later; its veterans were granted lands in Ontario.
