
Kim "V" Tae-hyung (30 Deceember 1995-) is a South Korean singer-songwriter from Daegu and a member of the boy band BTS (the "Bangtan Boys"). World-famous and with an international following, BTS cultivated a social liberal image, with their songs criticizing capitalism, South Korea's educational system, wealth polarization, and voter apathy, and publicly supporting President Moon Jae-in and the Black Lives Matter movement.
