Kilo Tray Ballas

The Kilo Tray Ballas was one of the original sets of Ballas, founded in Echo Park and in Wilmington, Los Angeles. The set was founded in Echo Park, the birthplace of the Ballas gang, but it was one of the less-powerful sets; the Rollin' Heights Ballas and Front Yard Ballas were tougher and had more men. In 1992, they lost Echo Park to the Grove Street Families and key leader Little Weasel was killed, but the Ballas would have their revenge when they overpowered the GSF in an ambush under the Four Level Interchange. In late April, GSF leader Sweet Johnson and his brother Carl Johnson took Echo Park from the Ballas and eventually took over all of the Kilo Tray Ballas' turf, destroying the set.
