
Killian Killian Van Rensselaer (9 June 1763-18 June 1845) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-NY 8) from 4 March 1801 to 4 March 1803 (succeeding Henry Glen and preceding Henry W. Livingston), from NY-9 from 4 March 1803 to 4 March 1809 (succeeding Benjamin Walker and preceding Thomas Sammons), and from NY-7 from 4 March 1809 to 4 March 1811 (succeeding Barent Gardenier and preceding Harmanus Bleecker).
Biography[]
Killian Killian Van Rensselaer was born in Greenbush, New York in 1763, the son of Kiliaen Van Rensselaer and the cousin of Jeremiah Van Rensselaer. He became a lawyer in Claverack in 1784 and served as a private secretary to his cousin Philip Schuyler, and he went on to serve in the US House of Representatives from 1801 to 1811. He died in 1845.
