
Kilic ibn Battuta (died 1583) was an explorer of the Ottoman Empire.
Biography[]
Kilic ibn Battuta was born in Turkey, and he became an explorer for the Ottoman Empire, embarking on a voyage to the New World. Ibn Battuta established a settlement in South America known as "New Suleymaniya", and he built one of the first mosques in the Americas there. It would be destroyed in the Siege of New Suleymaniya in 1583 shortly after he was killed by a sniper in an outpost from the colony of Billingsby.
