Kikkawa Tsunemoto (1838-1864) was the daimyo of the Iwakuni Domain after Kikkawa Tsuneakira and preceding Kikkawa Tsunetake.
Biography[]
Kikkawa Tsunemoto was the son of Kikkawa Tsuneakira, and he ruled the Iwakuni Domain of Suo Province in western Honshu. At the time of the Boshin War, he was aligned with the Tokugawa Shogunate, and he was an enemy of Mori Takachika and the Choshu Domain. In 1864, he was killed when the city of Yamaguchi was assaulted by the Choshu, bringing an end to the Iwakuni Domain.
